Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Foundation (KORF) is a local foundation dedicated to caring for thier community and preserving the area of Kā‘anapali in Maui, Hawaii. KORF organizes various charity actions, fundraisers and supports a wide range of foundations for community based change.
Develop a new, clean and approachable brand identity for the Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Foundation team.
KORF Hawaii's mission and vision focus on communicating and demonstrating hospitality, care and protection for their ‘ohana (family) and the beautiful surrounding nature. Therefore, it was important that the branding focus on the animals native to their area, which were integrated directly into their logo.
The handwritten font conveys the idea of imperfection, humility, and approachability for the everyday person, which further roots the brand identity deeper in their community.
